- Associate membership — Join the Bitcoin Foundation as an associate member for a period of 5 years for 0.5 BTC.
- Lifetime membership — Secure your place in the Bitcoin Foundation for life with a lifetime membership costing 1 BTC. As a lifetime member, you'll also be given a personalized email address.
- Corporate membership — Get your business involved with the Bitcoin Foundation at a corporate level, valid for 2 years at a cost of 10 BTC. As a corporate member, your company will be listed on our website with a follow link and logo. You'll also be able to claim up to 10 personalized email addresses.
Membership Governance and Voting
All members participate in the foundation's governance through our unique voting system. Members receive voting weight proportional to their membership tier. Key decisions put to member vote include:
- Selection of developer grant recipients
- Election of board members
